The event like never before in Lublin. It is an usual combination of UMCS IT Academic Day with two initiatives – Lublin Startup Contest and Open Innovation Forum. Join, achieve invaluable knowledge and amazing awards!
In cooperation with our partners we predicted two main prizes:

It will be a series of technological lectures and workshops during which participants will be given a possibility to extend their knowledge of business related subjects. Additionally, for teams working on innovative projects we add: Speed dating during which startups will be given an opportunity to present venture capitalists their business idea. Every single talk will last for 10 minutes. Representatives of VCs and Business Angels will choose two teams and give them an unique financing opportunity.

Second day of festival is technological hackathon.

It will last for 24 hours, during which creative people will form solutions on real problems reported by City of Lublin.

Serial Entrepreneur and Builder of Global Enterprises One of the first employees of Atari's International Home Computer Division, where he was responsible for the business expansion in Europa and the Middle East. In 1982 he became one of the original founders of Electronic Arts. There he was in charge of international business expansion until the first stock sale 7 years later. He founded and led several software producing companies, including License do Mail, Cardsmith, the Hive Group and Just Arrive. Jeff graduated University of Stanford, where he got his Master in Business Administration. For the past 40 years he has been living in Silicon Valley.

He had been gaining his professional experience by working for 10 years for the biggest consulting and auditorium companies in the world.

He is an accomplished business entrepeneur, who founded and invested in 16 technological startups. He has a strong belief, that technologies are made by people for people. He looks for investments with high growth potential, but also those that can bring profits to society. Nowadays he starts two business funds, which look for unique startups in Poland, ready for the global competition and acceleration in San Francisco and New York. Privately ,he loves snowboard and kitesurfing.
